1. Who we are

MyAds is the data controller for the personal data processed through this Service. See the Imprint for our contact details.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email, display name, password hash, optional avatar.
• Profile data: bio, side (buyer/seller), WhatsApp/Telegram if you choose to share.
• Content: ads you post, messages you send, files you upload to Safe Deals.
• Usage data: view counts, timestamps, basic device info.
• Transactional data: Safe Deal records (amounts, status, tx hashes you submit).

3. How we use it

• Provide the Service (showing ads, routing messages, running Safe Deals).
• Communicate about your account, deals, and disputes.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process your data to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), based on our legitimate interest in running a safe marketplace (Art. 6(1)(f)), and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Push notifications require your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

5. Sharing

We share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, database, push delivery) acting as our processors. We do not sell your personal data. Other users see what you publish (ads, public profile, reviews) and content you send them directly.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and the app working. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Retention

We keep your account data until you delete your account. Safe Deal records may be retained longer where required to resolve disputes or comply with law.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Imprint.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, row-level security, access controls) to protect your data. No method is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app.
